PP x Ludlow House 004
Being an eco-conscious brand, Plant Passenger looked to celebrate the Earth’s month properly. We joined forces with our home base, Soho House’s Lower East Side’s location, Ludlow House to present a celebration of the Earth. Outside, we placed two 25-foot trees and 30 other tropical varieties in our good friend, Alex Hula’s 1969 Alfa Romeo Duetto for the install. Inside, we hosted 250 members and attendees over a zero-waste selection of hor d'oeuvres & drinks by Executive Chef Zachary Cooper, Head Bartender Alex Dominguez and an incredible DJ set by Liam Berkeley.
—
As we look to support eco-conscious movements, an organization near and dear to our hearts quickly came to mind. Elizabeth Street Garden is a New York garden offering an oasis from the hustle and bustle to all walks of life. Hosting over 30 pieces of centuries-old sculpture and artifacts curated across the world, ESG isn’t just a park. It is a magical landmark in our city in dire straits. After years of legal battles, the city’s Department of Housing Preservation & Development (HPD) has sent a notice to terminate the lease for the Garden. As we fight to keep the Garden intact, every dollar counts. For each print sold, Plant Passenger will donate 10% towards the ESG fund.
Elizabeth Street Garden (ESG) is an independent, community lead, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. To donate directly, please click here.
